The WINNER of the Southern Beach Tour is…

Overview
Southern Resorts Vacation Rentals offers approximately 700 properties along the Beaches of Northwest Florida. We are looking for a fun loving, outgoing person to vacation for a month along our shores and write about their experiences. The perfect person for this Southern Beach Tour, is also savvy enough to use a variety of mediums such as blogs, photos, online videos, Facebook, Twitter, Flickr and even more cool programs.
From October 8 – November 8, 2010 our winner will enjoy stays in each of our areas, including Pensacola Beach, Fort Walton Beach, Destin, the Beaches of South Walton, Panama City Beach and the Forgotten Coast. You will be able to enjoy various festivals, activities and our Southern Perks courtesy of Southern Resorts Vacation Rentals.
Prize
The winning applicant will win a FREE month stay with Southern Resorts along our Beaches of Northwest Florida and admission to fun events and activities like:

Rules, Regulations & Requirements
The winning vacationer must…
- Be age 25 or older
- Sign an agreement covering the terms of the Southern Beach Tour
- Provide their own reliable transportation
- Provide their own computer
- Attend the required events set forth by Southern Resorts Vacation Rentals (we’ll pay for the tickets)
- Write daily blogs, post periodically on social media and use our provided Flip video camera to take and upload video to Youtube. (We will provide the Youtube account)
- Not be a current/past employee or family member of Southern Resorts Vacation Rentals.
- Enter only once. Duplicate entries will automatically be disqualified
- Keep a credit card on file with us for any damages or expenses caused outside the parameters of the Southern Beach Tour.
Not following the rules, regulations and requirements set forth in the Southern Beach Tour will result in a forfeit of the free stay and guest would be charged the standard rates, fees and taxes of their stay.
Physical requirements may include:
- Walking on beautiful white sand
- Swimming in the Gulf’s emerald water
- Treading water for short intervals (just kidding)
- Standing and walking at festivals and functions
Entry Materials
- Essay explaining why you would be the best travel writer for the Southern Beach Tour and detailing how you would use blogs, social media, online videos, etc. to write about your experiences.

Judging & Timeline
- Entry deadline is Saturday September 18, 2010.
- Winner will be notified on Wednesday September 22, 2010
- Judging will be based on the best essay matching the qualities discussed above.
