Clear your palate and prepare for some delicious food as the Great Southern Gumbo and Wingding Championship is this Saturday, January 16th, from 11:00am-3:00pm. 

Held at the Market Shops in Sandestin, this event is a new twist on the annual Gumbo Cook-Off.  Local restaurants and businesses will be competing for your vote for the “Area’s Best.”  Family entertainment will include live Zydeco music as you chow down at this delicious competition.  Tickets are $15 in advance and $25 at the door.  Or, bring 5 non-perishable food items and you’ll only pay $20 at the door.  Call (850) 267-8093 for more information.
