Alright, I realize some of you may think that it’s still just a bit early to start celebrating Christmas.  But, for those of us in love with Christmas year round, October seems a reasonable time to begin decorating our homes with Christmas lights without receiving too many weird looks from the neighbors. 

This Saturday at the Destin Commons Center Plaza, we can all come together to enjoy the arrival of Santa Claus!  The rumor is that Santa will arrive promptly at 6pm to magically light the 50′ Christmas Tree and officially begin the holiday season.  Broadway performers will accompany Santa Claus in this celebration as Snow White, Cinderella, Peter Pan and Aladdin. 

Gather your children to tell them about Santa’s arrival with his Disney friends so you can enjoy the excitement and wonder on their faces throughout the week.
