The Northwest Symphony Orchestra is proud to present “Stars of Tomorrow” featuring the champions of the prestigious regional Concert Competition on February 19th at the Mattie Kelly Arts Center of Northwest Florida State College.

The performance will also feature tubist Chester Schmitz, the former 35 year principal tubist for the Boston Symphony Orchestra and Boston Pops along with being the NFSO’s current principal tubist.  He will be performing Kleinsinger’s classic “Tubby the Tuba.”

The Northwest Florida Symphony Orchestra is the premiere professional symphony in the region.  The venue includes a custom orchestra shell, used for NFSO at each of their concerts which provides an optimum acoustical experience.  The NFSO also performs at special events throughout the region, provides a vivid musical education to area youth and has a dedicated guild of volunteers who support all of the different orchestra endeavors.

As a special thank you for our active military, discounted tickets are available at $16 per ticket (limit of 4).  The box office opens at 6:00pm.
