Alright, so I think we all had a good time at the Destin Seafood Festival.  Traditionally, there should be a kind of hangover weekend following such a great event.  But, that’s not the case.

First, the Fall Family Festival is taking place at the Destin Commons this Saturday October 10th from 11am-4pm.  Kidz On The Coast Magazine will be there along with non-stop performances from local kids groups and organizations.  Kids will also be able to enjoy arts and crafts, a bounce house, rock wall climbing, and other fun activities. 

Second, a BBQ tasting event at HarborWalk called Blues, Brews, and Barbecue will be held Saturday October 10th from 12pm-4pm at HarborWalk Village with a $25 charge due at entry.  Local restaurants will heat up their grills and provide various beers and wines to complete the experience.  Restaurants include Commander’s Palace, Seagar’s, Great Southern Cafe, Harry T’s, Fish House, Atlas Oyster House, Mitchell’s, Beef ‘O’Brady’s, Helen Back, Crazy Lobster, Tommy Bahama Cafe, Grande Vista Bar & Grille, and others.  Many of these restaurants will be competing in creative barbecue competition sure to please even the most precise barbecue connoisseur.
