Break out your lederhosen and grab your favorite mug as you head to Downtown Panama City for the 2009 Oktoberfest.  Beginning Friday October 2nd from 4:00pm – 10:00pm and on Saturday October 3rd from 11:00am to 10:00pm the festivities will be in full effect.  Accordion players, sausage eating contests, and carnival rides are but a few of the attractions of this uber festival.  Prepare your best polka and try to sample all of the delicious german beer.  Bring your little ones because there will be plenty to enjoy including face painting, clowns, and other family activities.  Over 25,000 will be expected in attendance from the ceremonial tapping of the kegs to the awesome Oom-Pah-Pah concerts.
