The Southern team had a great time on Okaloosa Island during the 10th Annual Mardi Gras parade! We hope if you were staying with us in a Fort Walton Beach condo or a Destin vacation rental that you came out for the festivities.
While the parade got off to a bit of a late start, we couldn’t have asked for a better crowd out on the island. Despite cold temps to go with the ample sunshine, the parade route was lined with enthusiastic revelers and we enjoy seeing all of you and hearing “We’re staying with you! Toss us some beads!” from our snowbirds made our day!
We hope you had as much fun as we did and that we see you again next year. Be sure to look out for us in future parades, as we had so much fun with this one that we can’t wait to do it again! See you along the Gulf Coast beaches.
