Don’t miss the street parties happening this Mardi Gras during your vacation in South Walton! Celebrations are happening all along Scenic 30A but you especially won’t want to miss the festivals at Gulf Place and Seaside.
Both Gulf Place Town Center, located in the South Walton beach community of Santa Rosa Beach, and Seaside, Florida will host street festivals on February 18, 2012. Plan to join in on one or utilize the bike path to party at both but just make sure you don’t miss the party! Gulf Place will shut down The Loop at 12PM for the pet parade as well as the golf cart and bike parade where you can jump and shout for your chance at beads, moonpies and more. After the parades stick around for live music, arts and crafts, and prizes.
Seaside’s festivities will begin at 12PM with their street parade along 30A happening at 2PM. After the parade, don’t miss the live music taking center stage. Groove to the sounds of Chubby Carrier and the Bayou Swamp Band before carrying your party on into the evening. See you in the streets of South Walton this Mardi Gras!
