Fall is all about outdoor festivals and events and the 2nd Annual Perdido Key Oktoberfest is one you don’t want to miss. It might be fall but the weather is still warm enough to enjoy a beautiful day outside, sipping a frosty beverage and a tasty bratwurst!
The festival will be held at the Perdido Key Oyster Bar, which overlooks the water and picturesque marina, this year on October 1, 2011. Tickets are only $15 per person and include unlimited beer sampling and Oktoberfest mug. For $25, you get all that as well as a festival t-shirt to remember the experience. If you’d like to attend, but won’t be partaking of the beer sampling, don’t worry. This year the festival features a beer garden where you can relax and enjoy the live entertainment including a traditional Oompah band and sample the tasty Oktoberfest food that will be available. Are you really feeling the Oktoberfest spirit? Don your best dirndls or lederhosen for a chance at the prizes being given away in the “Best Dressed” costume contest!
